What are the Amenities at Sterling Village? |
With the tremendous help and support of Senator Bob Smith and former Mayor Ted Light, Kathy Roth's endeavor to create an affordable housing apartment building for senior citizens came to fruition and Piscataway Township completed the construction of Sterling Village in November of 1991. Over the years some of the faces at Sterling Village have changed but the essence of our beliefs has not: Sterling Village was built for the comfort, security and well-being of our tenants and we continue to strive to reach that goal on a daily basis.
In keeping up with modern times we began a restoration program throughout Sterling Village which included the replacement of all windows, the installation of a new roof and the installation of new siding. We are also currently renovating each apartment's kitchen cabinets, kitchen countertops and bathroom vanities as well as replacing flooring throughout the building. In addition to all of the ongoing restorations, our housekeeping and maintenance staffs make every effort to keep our building shining and running smoothly.
We have many different activities that occur in our building and on our grounds, such as the following:
- Sterling Village COMMUNITY ROOM EVENTS
- ANNUAL BAZAAR
- ANNUAL BARBECUE
- ANNUAL HOLIDAY PARTY
- SELF ENTERTAINMENT
