*Recycling/Trash Center Coupons and Recycling Center ID Passes have been mailed to all residential property
owners. The Piscataway Township, 2014 Recycling ID Card MUST BE PRESENTED AT THE GATE, along
with Drivers License as Proof of Residency. The Rules and Hours of the Center were enclosed in the mailing.
 
* Coupons are required for bagged brush, lumber, household debris, carpeting, furniture and all other acceptable non-recyclable materials.
 
* Coupons are required for grass disposal and may be purchased in the Tax Office starting March 31, 2014 – 8:30 a.m. – 12:20 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Cost per Coupon is $1.00, minimum purchase – two (2).
 
* Coupons are not required for disposal of recyclable materials. This includes all recyclables picked up curbside, in addition to batteries, (2) tires, motor oil, antifreeze and metal. Brush may be brought to the mini-dump but
can not be longer than 5 foot lengths or greater than 4 inches in diameter.
 
* Residents are encouraged to recycle hazardous household material and paint at Middlesex County locations
on the designated dates and times. REMINDER: WE DO nOT ACCEPT ANY HAZARDOUS WASTE OR
TOXIC WASTE MATERIALS, CHEMICALS OR PAInTS AT THE DPW MINI DUMP.
 
*All residents entering the Mini Dump must have their vehicles properly insured, inspected and registered in
Piscataway. nO TRUCKS LARGER THAN HALF TON PICKUPS ARE ALLOWED AND NO TRUCKS
WITH SIDEBOARDS WILL BE ALLOWED. Pickup trucks and full size vans are required to surrender two
(2) passes per visit.
 
* ELECTRONIC WASTES are now accepted at the Recycling Center. Residents still have the option of bringing
them to: SIMS – 401 MILL ROAD, EDISON, nJ on the 1st Saturday of each month – 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., and
the 3rd Monday of each month – 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
 
* Residents can schedule two (2) Bulk Trash pick ups and one (1) Brush pick up from January to mid-October.
Branches must be bundled and tied –NO BAGGED BRUSH IS ALLOWED. During the summer months there
may be a 6-8 week wait.
 
Middlesex County Textile Recycling Bags are available in the Public Works Office.
